The top 3 benefits from a MELT class:
1) Decreases stiff, achy and painful joints
2) Calms the nervous system
3) Increases self awareness
What makes your MELT class unique?
I bring a unique perspective to my MELT class class due to my unique life experiences with respect to my training and teaching movement. I like to have fun with imagery while being focused on form and precision and I am open to feedback and questions.
What you should expect by experiencing this class:
Participants will feel better in their bodies by learning more about personal imbalances and how to participate in a practice of self care in class and at home.

Brief History of the MELT Method
The MELT Method (Myofascial Energetic Length Technique) was developed in the early 2000s by Sue Hitzmann, a manual therapist and exercise physiologist based in New York. Hitzmann had a background in hands-on bodywork and corrective exercise and began synthesizing concepts from:
Myofascial release
Neuromuscular reeducation
Lymphatic stimulation principles
Autonomic nervous system regulation
Proprioceptive training
Her goal was to create a self-treatment system that replicated the effects of manual therapy without aggressive foam rolling or deep tissue pressure.
